From Ideas to Assets: Building Tomorrow Through IP
Intellectual Property is no longer optional in business—it is the foundation of sustainable growth, differentiation, and long-term survival. In an increasingly competitive and technology-driven world, IP converts ideas into owned assets, protects hard-earned innovation, and transforms effort into enterprise value. For TLCians, adopting an IP-first approach means building businesses that are future-ready, scalable, and globally credible. Lakshya 1000 IP exists to ensure that today’s innovations become tomorrow’s protected advantages—fueling stronger brands, higher valuations, new market access, and generational impact. By embedding IP into everyday business thinking, TLCians are not only securing their own growth but actively contributing to India’s evolution as a knowledge-led, innovation-powered economy.
Year 1 Roadmap: From Foundation to Momentum
Duration: Full One-Year Execution Cycle
Year 1 focuses on establishing a strong IP culture, execution discipline, and sustained patent filing momentum to enable long-term success under the Lakshya 1000 IP initiative.
-
Foundation & Governance Setup
City-wise TLCian coordinators are nominated, official communication groups are formed, and dedicated IPR coordinators are assigned. Company profiling and basic innovation data collection establish a clear execution baseline. -
Program Launch & Awareness Activation
The initiative is officially announced. City-wise online IPR awareness webinars are conducted, leads are captured, and structured one-on-one follow-ups begin. Registrations for offline deep-dive seminars are opened. -
Engagement to Execution Transition
Offline IP awareness sessions begin in selected cities. Follow-up meetings intensify, idea disclosures are collected, and potential applications move into drafting readiness, supported by parallel online sessions. -
First Filing Milestone
A strong execution breakthrough is achieved with 30–35 patent applications filed. City-wise success stories are shared internally, supported by mentor-led progress reviews. -
Innovation & Ideation Acceleration
Creativity and ideathon activities unlock new innovation pipelines. Drafting and filings continue alongside offline sessions, with a gradual shift toward commercialization-focused IP. -
Sector-Specific Strengthening
Industry-focused webinars improve application quality and relevance. Another 30–35 patent filings strengthen sector-aligned IP portfolios and collaboration. -
Consolidation & Mid-Cycle Review
Additional industry sessions result in 25–30 filings. A mid-cycle review evaluates filing targets of 90–100 IPR, lead conversion, dashboards, and success stories. -
Advanced IP Awareness & Expansion
Advanced IPR webinars are conducted. Competitor IP analysis begins, Ideathon-2 is launched, and a new filing batch of 20–25 applications is initiated. -
Strategic IP Deepening
Companies requiring Freedom to Operate (FTO) analysis are identified. Follow-ups intensify, 20–25 additional filings are completed, and offline execution continues. -
Culture Reinforcement & Visibility
Ideathon winners and city-wise success stories are published. An additional 15–20 filings reinforce a strong and visible IP culture across TLC. -
New Member Integration & Scale
New TLC members are onboarded through awareness webinars. Coordination support expands and a fresh filing batch of 20–25 applications is initiated. -
IP Clinics & Strategic Expansion
City-level IP ideation clinics are conducted, followed by continuous filing execution with 20–25 additional applications completed under mentor review. -
Innovation Challenge & Review
Product innovation challenges and Ideathon-3 are conducted. A further 15–20 filings are completed, followed by a comprehensive review assessing total filings of 130–150 IPR and readiness for scale.
